Last Saturday, I was one of the thousands of people who purchased the tickets to watch Michael Bolton live at MFCC in Ta' Qali. His performance was superb. At least that helped me ease some of the other disappointments... To arrive at the MFCC grounds, we had to drive along an interminable traffic jam due to the closure of all the roads leading to the site! Subsequently, we had to wait for a further hour (after the designated starting time) for the show to begin.

Yet, the worst frustration was caused by the single screen provided for the audience sitting at the back. Not only was it too small for the occasion but its images were blurred and small. Sitting in the Bronze area after having paid the good amount of €60 (for my and my husband's tickets), I never got to see Michael Bolton's face for once.

It could have been anyone singing on stage because there was never any close shot provided of the singer.

Shame on the organisers!
