Are green wardens extinct?
It is with great sadness and regret that we have to conclude that we are witnessing the demise of the Lesser Spotted Green Wardens. These shy and retiring creatures were introduced a few years ago to combat the Vulgar Greater Spotted Litter Bugs, which are overrunning both islands. Sadly the Lesser Spotted does not thrive in these islands. In its plain plumage it appears to be invisible, in fact cynical people doubt that the species exists at all.
Evidence of the Greater Spotted is everywhere, it appears that the Lesser Spotted are too timid to venture out to combat them or to be proactive against them.
Hopefully, a more robust Lesser Spotted will be introduced to combat the litter bugs in future.

My friend, I have a big hunch that Lesser Spotted Green Wardens were actually just a myth, on the same level as flying horses such as Unicorns, or more recent, flying pigs. It seems that they never really existed or they existed in the imagination of those who invented them. In fact, as the saying goes, they have been always conspicuous by their absence!
