KSU appoints Melita official telecoms partner

The University Students' Council (KSU) has appointed Melita official telecommunications and home entertainment partner. Under the agreement, Melita will invest in technical and financial support for the development of KSU's activities over the next few years. KSU and University students will benefit from Melita's platform.

Melita is to assist KSU in revamping and maintaining the students' Common Room, which this year will be rebranded the 'KSU Melita Common Room', by investing resources to upgrade the premises and facilities.

Meanwhile, Melita is offering University students a one-time student offer, valid only during Freshers' Week from Campus and throughout October. For €13.85 per month, students can subscribe for a pre-paid personal phone line, an internet connection and a free wireless modem worth €70. The offer is applicable for new connections only and is not available in shops.

The offer presents students with an opportunity to acquire a communications solution based on the 'M' Internet package and Telephony 'Flex' package; 'M' offers a 2Mbps speed, 25GB download limit, three e-mail accounts, free installation and free downloads between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Telephony 'Flex' is the cheapest pre-paid telephony solution available, with no monthly bills, and places students in full control of their expenditure through pre-paid calling cards.
