For some weeks PBS has been running a series of historic film clips recovered from its archives, for which it must be praised.

PBS is also the depository of many news clips originally belonging to the Department of Information. Sterling work was carried out by Charles Abela Mizzi with the assistance of Charles Thake. They should be congratulated for such painstaking work. It is a pity that this series seems to have come to an end.

I hope that PBS would consider putting all these clips on DVD and offering them for sale to the public. Such DVDs would also be of great interest to Maltese living abroad. Finally, a copy of the said DVDs should also be given to the national archives in Mdina.

Good show.
