Renowned spa design consultant for Mistra Heights

International Spa Design, led by renowned consultant Peter Anderson, has been commissioned to assist in the design of the Mistra Heights spa, health and fitness facilities.

Explaining the rationale behind this early appointment, Carmen Camilleri Ciantar, Gemxija Crown's sales and marketing manager, said: "International Spa Design will be working with our team of consultants to ensure that the right infrastructure and layouts are implemented right from the beginning."

Keith Pillow, the destination branding consultant, for the project, said: "In this way, we would be in a better position to attract an international spa and fitness management company to operate it. The spa will play an important role in setting up this unique destination, thus we want to make sure to work with the best."

Mr Anderson and his team of consultants have developed innovative, exciting and financially successful spas and health clubs around the world, including the popular destination Aphrodite Hills in Cyprus. With previous experience in the UK, the US, the Middle East, Europe and the West Indies, he brings a wealth of experience from the health club, spa and resort management industry, Gemxija Crown said.

Apart from concept design, Mr Anderson has expertise in technical services, health and safety, training and recruitment, and the pre-opening programme. He will seek to ensure that the Mistra Heights Spa and Wellness Centre will have a unique personality within a well-defined brand identity.
