MCAST: Bartolo seeks urgent police intervention

Opposition education spokesman Evarist Bartolo has called on the police to urgently intervene and investigate the procedure being adopted by MCAST for the selection of private IT centres to provide ICT courses.

In a letter today to the Police Commissioner, Mr Bartolo said this process was now in its final stages and there was need for an urgent police investigation which would be able to stop the process before it was too late and before important evidence, whether printed or electronic, could be destroyed.

He enclosed a statement he issued a few days ago in which he complained about the way the selection process is being made.
