Formal complaint

The Parliamentary Secretary for Elderly and Community Care, Mario Galea yesterday filed a formal complaint to the police asking them to take action against the newspaper KullĦadd.

Mr Galea said that in an article that appeared on September 21, the paper had reported incorrect facts about an incident that happened in the mortuary at St Vincent De Paul Residence.

Mr Galea said the article had appeared on the back page of the paper and the newspaper had failed to report with the same prominence a press release his secretariat had issued in reply.
