The new Happy Paws Clinic, which opened in Marsa last Friday, entitles those who look after stray animals to become members of the Happy Paws Charity Organisation through which they can neuter their animals for free.

The organisation, dating back to 2005, first operated through two charity shops, where people could purchase items in exchange for vouchers that could then be used at veterinarians to neuter their pets. Now that the Happy Paws Clinic is open, however, the voucher system has become obsolete, contrary to the way it was reported on Saturday. The proceeds earned from the two shops will now go towards the running of the clinic.
