A 47-year-old man from Cospicua was yesterday granted bail after pleading not guilty to defiling a 17-year-old girl.

Magistrate Michael Mallia heard Martin Agius deny defiling the girl on September 25 at 1 p.m. in St Julians, holding her against her will, corrupting and harassing her.

Magistrate Mallia granted Mr Agius bail against a personal guarantee of €2,000.
