Renault's Fernando Alonso won the Singapore Grand Prix this afternoon, benefiting from a safety car period when team-mate Piquet crashed. Rosberg came second in a Williams.

Lewis Hamilton came third for Mclaren.

Ferrari scored no points, with Kimi Raikkonen crashing when fifth and Felipe Massa relegated down the grid after pit stop problems saw him drive off with the fuel hose attached.

Hamilton extends his lead in the drivers' championship to seven points and McLaren now lead the constructors' championship.
