• The feast of St Michael is being celebrated at the chapel near St Michael fireworks factory, Lija, today with Mass at 5.30 p.m. This will be followed by a fair, marches by the St Pio X Band and a fireworks display.

• Heritage Malta is organising a book fair at the agency's head office in Merchant's Street, Valletta, today from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m.
