Seven Ghanaians, including a child, and a Nigerian national who arrived in Malta as irregular immigrants yesterday went back to their country under an assisted voluntary Foreign Ministry scheme co-funded by the European Commission.

Later this week and early next week should see the departure of an Ethiopian and two Ghanaians under the same scheme.
