Great way to see the sights

My wife and I have just returned from holiday to the beautiful island of Malta. We have been holidaying in Malta since 1996 and this year have had some bonus enjoyment from the sightseeing tours.

I felt I had to write regarding these open top tours as we thoroughly enjoyed all three of them.

First of all we did the night tour. This tour was definitely my wife's favourite. We got to see a lot more of Malta at night and the lights all around the island made this an almost magical experience. We also found the commentary on the tour very informative and extremely interesting.

Secondly we did the north tour. This was excellent, and the opportunity to leave and rejoin the tour on a later bus was a brilliant idea. We spent almost the entire day visiting Ta' Qali craft village, Mdina, Mosta and of course Valletta where we got on and off the bus at each of these stops. The commentary was again very informative and added to the enjoyment of the tour.

We learned details of this magnificent island that we would not have learned from any other source.

Third and lastly we then did the South Tour. Just as wonderful as the other two tours and just as informative, with the opportunity to get off the bus for a visit to the lovely fishing village of Marsaxlokk where we went to the local market and had a beautiful lunch of locally caught fresh fish. We then went on to see the wonderful Blue Grotto and saw all the gigantic cruise ships in Valletta Harbour.

We heartily recommend that every tourist visiting this beautiful island participates in these extremely enjoyable tours - they are not to be missed!
