Tranter elected chair of IAHSA

Alexander Tranter was recently elected as chair of the board of directors of the International Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA). Mr Tranter currently serves as CEO of CareMalta, the leading provider of care for the elderly in Malta.

Alexander Tranter was recently elected as chair of the board of directors of the International Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA). Mr Tranter currently serves as CEO of CareMalta, the leading provider of care for the elderly in Malta. Mr Tranter has also served as the chair of IAHSA's European Committee, leading the efforts to establish a European Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.

As chair of the board, Mr Tranter will help guide IAHSA's efforts to connect and support care and service providers worldwide to enhance the quality of life for the aging. The IAHSA board of directors is multinational and includes representatives from Australia, the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Singapore, Israel, China (Hong Kong) and the United States.

IAHSA is the only global network of aged care providers, representing the interests of more than 20,000 aging services providers in 35 countries, serving almost 5 million elderly every day. IAHSA serves as an international forum for shared learning and is active in research, focusing on innovations in care technology and solutions to the long-term care workforce crisis.
