Bank of Valletta recently sponsored the Royal Malta Golf Club.

The bank will be the official sponsor of the monthly medal competitions, the eclectic (running) competition and the Malta vs Rest Wilkinson Sword Trophy.

"Sponsoring the Royal Malta Golf Club will have a spill-over effect not only on the members who make use of the facilities, but also on local tourism and the community at large," said BoV chief officer Victor Denaro.

The Royal Malta Golf Club has over 750 members, playing in excess of 50,000 golf rounds per annum. The course also hosts over 6,000 visitors annually.
