The Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA) is receiving nominations for the annual Good Practice Awards in occupational health and safety.

In line with this year's European theme, the awards this year will focus on risk assessments.

The awards aim to demonstrate, by example, to all employers and workers the benefits of conducting risk assessments and promoting healthy workplaces to safeguard the occupational health and safety of workers.

The awards will recognise those selected for their role in improving working conditions in Malta. The nominations will be adjudicated by a panel of independent judges and the winners will be announced in a ceremony held by the OHSA.

Closing date for submissions is being extended to October 31. More information and application forms are available by calling 2124 7677/8 or emailing ohsa.communications@gov.mt.

Application forms can also be downloaded from www.ohsa.org.mt.
