Public service can run hospital car park

Żminijietna - Voice of the Left is of the opinion that once the current contract involving a private company expires, the carpark at Mater Dei Hospital should be operated by the public service. The government is subsidising half of the price of each car that uses the car park.

Żminijietna - Voice of the Left believes that if the carpark is operated by the public service, the parking fees can be cheaper and the government would be saving funds now going into subsidising the private company. Revenue generated through the scheme could be used for public purposes.
