Public health hazard
I have very recently returned home after a most enjoyable holiday in Malta but I must let the people in authority know that the area on the Sliema side of the bus terminal in Valletta is a disgrace and a serious risk to public health.
The area is used as a public toilet mostly, I believe, by casual workers, and smells like an open sewer.
I send this letter with a heavy heart having visited Malta for the past 50 plus years. However, I believe that because of this long association I really must let somebody know that a serious health hazard exists.
Please accept these comments as an indication of my affection and long-term concern for Malta.
