'Fish' in Malta for World Tourism Day

The former Marillion front man Fish will be giving a concert in Bugibba as part of the events marking World Tourism Day (WTD) on September 27.

The Scottish rock artist has enjoyed an 18-year long productive solo career with his latest album, 13th Star, released only last year. His performance is expected to feature various tracks from the new album as well as other classic cuts from his solo albums, and some Marillion classic favourites.

This concert is just one of a number of initiatives being taken by the Malta Tourism Authority to commemorate WTD. The authority, together with various stakeholders, is organising events and initiatives to raise environmental awareness, with tourists, employees and the public.

This year’s theme for WTD is Tourism Responding to the Challenge of Climate Change, a topic at the heart of most environmentally conscious individuals.

Great news, I'll attend 100% even though I've already seen three performances by him but Fish is Fish and the way he interacts wiuth the audience makes him special.

this is a great piece of news!! I've been a fan of fish since his marillion days and his solo albums are also great pieces of inspired music! I can't wait!
