A Polish national was arrested at the airport in the early hours of Tuesday morning following intense investigations by the police in conjunction with the Polish authorities.

The man is wanted in Poland for various serious offences ranging from multiple murder to kidnapping and robbery. He was travelling using false documents and was intercepted at the airport when he had gone to meet relatives.

He is expected to be arraigned this morning.
