Kellogg's is launching a major initiative to promote the benefits of eating breakfast daily and to get families back into the breakfast habit.
The company's breakfast benefit message - Wake Up To Breakfast - is being carried on some of Kellogg's range of cereal packs including Corn Flakes.
Timed to coincide with the busy back-to-school period, Kellogg's is encouraging families to make time for breakfast and start the day in the best possible way.
Eating a balanced breakfast helps one to refuel the brain and the body with the energy and nutrients that one needs to perform better at work. People who eat breakfast tend to maintain a healthier weight than those who skip this meal and, as a result, this can help to reduce the risk of obesity, a Kellogg's spokesman said. The Wake Up To Breakfast message is targeting people who regularly skip breakfast to encourage them back to the breakfast table. Kellogg's offers a wide range of breakfast cereals to help children and adults alike choose what is right for them, the spokesman added.
