Summer is in its final throes and to mark the end of the lazy season, the University Students’ Council held the 10th edition of Campus Fest, an annual three-day festival of music, sports and culture.

A warm-up party on campus was followed by a bus ride to Ta’ Qali where students watched the World Cup Qualifier Malta vs Portugal football match, supporting their national team.

The next day was dedicated to music, starting with acoustic student duo Marilyn & Jean and Malta’s newest girl band Vieve, followed by more established performers Carrie Haber, Salt and Chasing Pandora. Victory Day kicked off with student band Frank & Friends, followed by funk rockers Shilloo’s Tree who warmed up the crowd for the famous theatrical foursome Zoo.

Poking fun at students, lecturers and all things related to student life, the rendition of Zoo Goes Campus, ended the festival in boisterous laughter.
