9 a.m. The Archbishop leads a half-day reflection at the seminary for eight young men who will be ordained deacons on October 31.

6.30 p.m. The Archbishop leads Mass at Mosta parish church on the occasion of the conclusion of festivities held to mark the parish's 400th anniversary.

Wednesday

6.30 p.m. The Archbishop leads Mass on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Charles de Foucauld, at the Poor Clares Convent, St Julian's. Charles de Foucauld was born in Strasbourg, France, on September 15, 1858.

Thursday

9.30 a.m. The Archbishop attends a renewal seminar for priests at the seminary, tal-Virtù. This third seminar will focus on spiritual direction.

7 p.m. The Archbishop addresses a conference open for all, on 'Prepare the Way for the Lord through Evangelisation', at the Discalced Carmelites' Hall, Birkirkara.

Friday

8 p.m. The Archbishop meets a number of youngsters privately to discuss faith and the Church.

Saturday

6.30 p.m. The Archbishop presides over the celebration of perpetual vows by Sr Edith Caruana at the Ursuline Sisters Home, Sliema.

Sunday

10 a.m. The Archbishop celebrates Independence Day Pontifical Mass at St John's Co-Cathedral.
