Kerċem Day marked with twinning agreement
Mayors Nigel Holland and Joe Grima sign the twinning agreement on Kerċem Day.
Kerċem council marked Kerċem Day with a series of activities at Orvieto Square.
Emanuel Grech also received the Ġieħ Kerċem award.
Mass was celebrated by the parish priests of Kerċem and Floriana, Fr Brian Meilak and Fr Richard Borg. The San Girgor Band marched from the parish church to Orvieto Square where the Yada Dancers (Gozo) and Centre Stage performed.
The evening came to an end after a twinning agreement between Kerċem and Floriana was signed by the mayors, Joe Grima and Nigel Holland.
