Two accused of drug trafficking

A 24-year-old and a 16-year-old were this morning charged separately with trafficking in ecstasy.

The 24-year-old pleaded not guilty to trafficking in ecstasy and possession of ecstasy with intent to sell and to the simple possession of heroin. However, he admitted to the possession of cocaine. He was remanded in custody..

The 16-year-old was charged with trafficking in ecstasy, the possession of ecstasy with intent to sell and the possession of cannabis resin. He was also charged with committing these crimes within 100 metres from a school or youth centre.
