MP in Ukraine

MP Francis Agius is currently in Kiev, Ukraine, attending the meeting of the Council of Europe's Committee on Migration, Refugees and Population. Dr Agius is leader of the parliamentary delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

The committee will be participating at the 8th Conference of European Ministers responsible for Migration Affairs.

The conference, titled Economic Migration, Social Cohesion And Development: Towards An Integrated Approach, will discuss the management and development of migration issues from holistic, dynamic and human rights perspectives. The Migration Committee will also take part in the European Parliamentary Forum on Economic Migration, Social Cohesion and Development.
