Microsoft has introduced Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2, which allows web users more control over the security of their personal information online. IE8 Beta 2 is also standards-complaint.
Features of IE8 Beta 2 include 'In Private Browsing' which allows users to keep browsing history private on shared computers in the home, internet cafes or public kiosks.
Similarly 'In Private Blocking' helps protect privacy by offering options to block content from third party websites, particularly those that tract and aggregate online behaviour. Examples of third party content on websites may include maps, stock tickers and advertisements. This function gives users notice, choice and control over the content by providing them with the ability to choose which third party content to block and which to allow.
