Choosemalta.com registers 13,000 room nights

Choosemalta.com registered over 13,000 room nights with an average of five-night stays in the first half of this year. These reservations came from 80 countries and were spread across the hotel rankings.

Choosemalta.com is now offering owners of multiple self-catering apartments a piece of the action with the ability to promote and rent their properties via the site.

Similar to hotels, landlords can manage pricing and availability, and potential customers can compare rates and book in real-time.

"The service is charged as a flat fee or a percentage of the booking. The property owner simply gives his/her property details, including images, and we manage the mechanics of the online reservation and booking," said Jonathan Shaw of choosemalta.com.

"Our portal is known for its broad reach and we are looking to expand our choices in sectors that cater for choices in the 'Specialised Travel' category, including healthcare, sports, leisure and tours, spa and wellness, business and conference and incentive."
