GDP up 6.2 per cent in second quarter

Provisional estimates indicate that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the second quarter of this year increased by 6.2 per cent at market prices and by 3.2 per cent in real terms when compared to the same period last year, the National Statistics Office (NSO) said yesterday.

GDP stood at €1,434.9 million at current prices and €1,138.3 million at constant prices, the NSO said.
