Redesigned eyewear website more user friendly

G. Spiteri Debono eyewear retail shop has launched their newly redesigned website at www.spiteridebono.com.

Following the success of the first site launched just over a year ago, the new version provided a more user-friendly interface, accessibility, improved navigational tools, a news section and online shopping facility.

One of the new facilities advises the viewer on how to match the right spectacles or sunglasses to their face shape. Clients will also be informed of any new stocks, brands and promotions.

John Spiteri Debono, director of G. Spiteri Debono, said that through the internet all borders and boundaries are lost. "You are no longer limited to the people walking down Republic Street. Today we have the tools to receive requests from anywhere around the world. The online shop aims exactly at this. No longer do our local as well as overseas clients need to contact us by e-mail or phone to see if we have a particular model in stock or what the price of that model is.

"They can simply log on to our website, see for themselves and place their order, checking out in a secure payment gateway, all in the comfort of their home."

All items are simply delivered to one's doorstep within a few days. G. Spiteri Debono has been serving its customers since 1866 in prescription glasses, sunglasses, digital cameras and watches, and was the first to offer online shopping for eyewear in Malta.
