Private hospital that makes you feel at home
I would like to show my appreciation at the way I was treated at St Philips Hospital in Sta Venera.
The medical section was second to none with doctors and nurses coming to see me even at hourly intervals during the night. The food was very good and you do not have to pay extra for any TV channel.
But the most important aspect is the quiet, relaxed atmosphere with a home away from home feeling. It is still very much a private hospital. You do not feel it is a business concern and patients are not just numbers.
Heartfelt thanks to all the staff for making my stay at St Philips a relaxing, calm experience notwithstanding the medical problems I had.

Each time I read a letter showing appreciation at the excellent way patients are treated by doctors and nurses at Maltese hospitals I am delighted knowing so well that one day I might be a patient myself. However I fail to understand what Ms. Schranz means by saying that at the mentioned hospital "you do not have to pay extra for any TV channel". I think the costs for this service were included in the bill which was paid by the patient or an insurance company, unless it was paid by the owners or some charitable institution!
