I wonder if anyone has thought of the following alternative location for the building of the museum for St John's. Instead of building on the churchyard, or excavating in front of the church, why not build in the square near the side entrance of the cathedral?

This square in front of the law courts could easily be built, going even as high as the law courts, without damaging the church or and without any excavation being undertaken.

The present monument of the Great Siege could be moved to another place in Valletta.
