Adrian Mifsud has been appointed new director to the board of directors of IAS, a firm of architects and structural engineers.
Mr Mifsud is an established member of the IAS team, and has been a key contributor to many high-profile projects including the Lufthansa Technik Facilities in Luqa and the Wasteserv Recreational Park in Marsascala. He is also a qualified geotechnical engineer and his specialisation involves ground-related civil engineering, such as foundations on soft rocks and clays, stability of clay slopes, engineered fills and land reclamation, quay structures and ground improvement.
IAS believes that the integration of Mr Mifsud's specialised geotechnical knowledge with the established structural engineering competence of the firm will provide a unique platform for future challenges within a construction industry with ever-increasing complexities.
