Silver Wedding
Mr RAY BUSUTTIL and Ms MARTHESE FRENDO
The marriage took place at the Balluta parish church on Saturday, September 3, 1983. Fr Joseph Falzon celebrated the nuptial Mass. Congratulations with love from Andrea and Nicole.
Obituary
AGIUS. On September 2, MARY née RIZZO, widow of Hugo, aged 82, passed peacefully away at Zammit Clapp Hospital, comforted by the rights of Holy Church after an illness borne with great fortitude. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Jean and Frank (jon lukas), their respective wives Amanda and Mary, her grandchildren Maria, Lily, Mark, Ashley and Rachel, her brothers Joe and John, and her sisters Bice, Ena and their respective spouses, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced in the coming days.
Requiem Masses
A Mass for the repose of the soul of MELITA GRECH CUMBO will be said today at St Julians parish church at 7 p.m. it being the trigesima die of her demise. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.

Seminar on mind games
The Institute of English Language Studies in Gozo will be holding an interactive seminar on Multiple Memories, Transactional Analysis And Mind Games at its language school IELS in Għajnsielem on September 20, between 9.30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Ian Kingsley Brown, a highly-experience teacher in the subject, will be the main speaker.

Żurrieq streets closed
The following streets in Żurrieq Ir-Repubblika, P. P. Saydon, Dun Ġużepp Zammit, l-Imqabba, Mons. P. Pawl Pullicino, Gervase Matthew, Napuljun, Kanonku Vinċenz Balzan, l-Għadir, Il-Qrendi, It-Tunnara, San Pietru, Il-Ħaddiema, Iċ-Ċombini, l-Inġiniera and Il-Kbira and Misraħ Mattia Preti and Vjal Il-Blue Grotto, will be closed to traffic tonight between 7 and midnight.
Qormi Social Security Office
The Social Security district office at the Qormi health centre will move to 395 Victory Street, Qormi on Tuesday. Because of the transfer, the office will be closed on Friday.
Those registering temporarily at the Żebbuġ district office are to start doing so at the new office as from September 15.
Closed to buses
Triq San Pawl, between Mecca Stores and the Xemxija roundabout, in St Paul's Bay will be closed to public transport because of construction works today from 1 to 3 p.m.
Prayer meeting
The committee Moviment Madonna Tal-Konsagrazzjoni will be holding a prayer meeting at Girgenti, Siġġiewi, on Sunday at 6 p.m.
