Court hears of sign-bashing spree

A 41-year-old man from Mellieħa was yesterday charged with damaging No Parking signs and bollards belonging to S&S Bathrooms in Lija.

Saviour Vella pleaded not guilty to causing over €116 in damage to the bollards on January 5 at about 9 p.m., causing over €23 in damage to the signs and trespassing on June 12 at 6 p.m.

Police Inspector Kevin Farrugia prosecuted.
