Parliamentary Secretary Clyde Puli has congratulated Maltese powerboat pilot Aaron Ciantar who over the weekend won the European powerboats championship with his teammate Angelo Tedeschi.

They won both races held in Lettuno in Italy on Saturday and Sunday on their Maltese-built powerboat and were also declared the winners of the Italian powerboat series.

They now lead the Powerboat P1 world championship standings.
