A Toyota Land Cruiser was damaged this morning after somebody placed material against one of its front tyres, causing it to explode, the police said.

The incident happened in Valletta Road, Zurrieq, at about 11 a.m.

No was was injured. Magistrate Edwina Grima is holding an inquiry assisted by court experts.
