Migrants' boat intercepted
A boat carrying 28 illegal immigrants has been intercepted south of Malta and is being escorted to Wied in-Buni, Birzebbuga, the AFM said.
The group of migrants consists of 19 men and nine women.

Why intercept them and take them to Malta? Why not just let them go to wherever they were heading for? This exercise just seems to increase the problems already faced by Malta because of these illegal immigrants on a daily basis. When is the government going to take steps to halt is influx and say enough is enough?

Considering how close we have become to the US of A (to the extent of giving them ownership to half the "national" recreational area), is there no way through their satellite surveillance systems that they can trace the paths of these "28-seater shuttle service", whether any un-loading takes place in mid-sea and by who ? If we can see the water-tanks on our roofs with Google Earth, then surely the USofA`s defence services can see much better and trace these movements, no ?
Or maybe then we risk exposing a racket which might turn out to shame some people in some places ???
