Blended accredited qualifications offered by Misco

Qualifications that can be delivered in a variety of ways, offering maximum flexibility to the new workplace requirements of the modern organisation are currently in demand. Lengthy programmes of study and training are not always the practical option. Personal preferences are also changing with many people preferring to use modern technology, study alone or at home and use a process that reflects their learning style or the constraints of their working environments. In short, the market is changing and it is time to reflect, stay ahead and benefit from it.

Misco is offering Learning Resources International's (LRI) web-based blended e-learning qualifications and awards model. Designed to provide blended development processes and specifically accredited for use with ILM qualifications, these solutions will allow up to 200 hours of quality online learning, mapped against study units, to be combined with other elements of the qualification processes, to offer an alternative, flexible method of delivery, support and control - highly attractive to learners and clients.

The model is formally validated by the ILM, for use with Levels 2-5 Leadership and Management Qualifications, making the LRI solution the only formally approved and accepted blended learning model for delivering and managing these ILM qualifications and awards processes.

These blended qualifications have been adopted by various organisations throughout the world, including the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), NHS Education for Scotland (NES), Europe Consulting, College of the North Atlantic and many others.

Misco is offering its range of ILM accredited qualifications - Introductory Certificate in Management, Certificate in Management and Diploma in Management either as blended learning programmes, which entail both tutor led sessions and on-line instruction, or fully online.

Blended programmes start in October. For more information visit http://learning.miscomalta.com/, call Dorianne Camilleri Turner on 2205 4605 or e-mail dturner@miscomalta.com.
