Policemen's initiative raises €1,300 for charity
Policemen who are motorcycle enthusiasts yesterday raised €1,300 in a charity ride with their friends from the police garage to Qormi.
The charity ride is held every year and this year drew 120 bikers. The funds will be donated to the Malta Hospice Movement.
Funds collected in the other three editions were presented to the Siggiewi homes of the handicapped and the Sliema Creche.

A good gesture.
It would be a good idea if for similar events in the future,an announcement is done on social networking sites,like facebook & hi5
I am sure the organisers would get a better response..
