Bank sponsors Gozo Red Cross

Bank of Valletta recently presented a sponsorship to the Gozo Branch of the Malta Red Cross Society.

The funds will be utilised for the functioning of the new Front Line Ambulance given to the organisation by the Italian Red Cross regional committee for Sicily.

The new ambulance has been fitted with the latest technology, including a resuscitation ventilator, vital signs monitor, full body vacuum mattress, body sign board and a carry chair, scoop stretcher, AED and resuscitation kits.

This ambulance will complement another ambulance that the organisation has, which also benefited from previous funds donated by the bank.

The funds were presented by Jack Theuma, Gozo branch manager at Bank of Valletta to Frederick Fenech, president of the Malta Red Cross.
