Dislodged block at Pietà

I refer to the news item entitled Dislodged Block At Pietà Old Customs Verandah Removed (August 23).

I would like to make some clarifications regarding this news item. I am the project manager for Agius Stone Works, not the architect, as erroneously printed. Keith Yeomans is the architect for ASW, the company involved in the restoration of the Pietà Boat House, while Kurt Camilleri Burlo' is the architect in charge of the project. I was notified by the owner, John Debono, late on Wednesday evening that one of the corbels had become dislodged. The operation to remove the dislodged concrete corbel and the other three corbels, one at each corner of the structure was supervised by Rosario Agius, director of Agius Stone Works Ltd, on Friday morning, not by myself. I was not even on site that day. I simply ensured that the emergency works took place immediately.
