@Kevin Cassar: I think that you fail to consider the obvious: The behaviour that you describe is called intoxication by ethanol or severe senile dementia. Unfortunately I've met both on our roads.

it is not just maltese who can be reckless drivers. regularly i notice reckelss driving such as people just coming out of stop signs when cars are still going by nearly causing accidents then i notice a foreign licence plate.
@ joseph schembri - true that it takes very little to overturn a car especially if there is some oil on the road and the car is turning on neutral gear.

also sometimes all it takes is the slightest error for an accident and as human beings we are all prone to error.

I agree. Many people in Malta have no idea how to drive and yet hold a valid license. Just yesterday I was behind someone who would not go over 20 Kph even though the road ahead was clear, and I was really baffled when he even managed to hit a small central island with the rear wheel at less than 20?!? I could walk faster than that and from what I saw he probably should consider walking too!

@dave white ......When are the Maltese going to learn to drive?? why such a comment? your comment shows as if only the Maltese get accidents on the road and the rest of the world does not. as every one knows accidents happen all over the world and some of the worst accidents did not happened Malta for sure.

It really takes very little to overturn a car. I've just watched a video of a woman whose car overturned when she hit a wall while she was parking. She couldn't have been doing more than 10km/h.

cars don't just overturn by themselves..... i think driver error will be to blame here as usual.
When are the maltese goin to learn to drive??

It might amaze some but it takes very little to turn a car over, even at a very slow speed. Thank goodness that no one was hurt.

Is this flip-your-car week or something? Glad she walked away from it!
