The Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs has just installed 150 new bins in Paceville in a bid to reduce the mounds of rubbish littering the streets.

Early morning Paceville is a sight of bottles, pizza wrappers and plates, fast food boxes and containers. The Cleansing Services Department, together with MTA and the local council, clean and wash the place daily in their bid to keep it clean. Litter picking is also carried out during the day.

The enforcement of the Littering Act is being seen as an important move to reduce this litter being carelessly and disrespectfully thrown in the street, the ministry said.
