I have been to Xlendi these past days. While I acknowledge that Xlendi remains an enchanting bay for the tourist, I was a bit perplexed to see the state of the closed Tourist Information Kiosk at the car park. If it cannot be managed (and I cannot see why not when Xlendi is one of the most sought after beaches in Gozo and an important tourism zone), it would be better off if, at least, the information sign were removed.

With all the efforts our country makes to attract tourists, this is the worst thing we can offer to the tourist in Xlendi.

With the windows broken, the kiosk has become a place of litter rather than serving the purpose for which it was set up. Marsalforn would also need such a service but with the very poor track record with regard to both the Xlendi office and, especially, the basic upkeep of the bay, I doubt that we will ever see one.
