Septuagenarian in difficulty while swimming
A 77-year-old Englishman is in danger of losing his life after finding himself in difficulties while swimming at Dawret il-Gżejjer in Qawra, the police said.
They said the man was helped to shore by other swimmers and an ambulance took the man to hospital.
Duty magistrate Audrey Demicoli is holding an inquiry.
