HSBC's call centre in Swatar has featured in a recent shooting of Call Centre TV, an initiative of the bank's network of call centres in 13 countries servicing UK banking customers.
The bank said the feature gave extensive exposure to the Maltese islands.
Every month, a UK crew visits different call centre sites to highlight what is happening globally in the call centre world.
The footage is then aired at HSBC's global call centre network.
Two events were shot over two weeks: the Best Place To Talk Event, which took place at the MonteKristo Wine Vaults in Ħal Far, and Malta Has Got Talent at Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar, where employees from the Swatar call centre put up talent shows of music, cookery and other forms of entertainment.
The Best Place to Talk Event provided the forum for HSBC to discuss the performance of call centres over the past 12 months and map out the vision for next year.
The event was hosted by Richard Brown, director of the call centre in Swatar with the participation of Tony Mahoney, head of HSBC International, Teresa Robson-Capps, head of the Call Centre in Swatar (CTS), and Chris Burgoyne, head of CTS Operations.
