MIFSUD. On August 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY née Galea, widow of Carmelo, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Yvonne, widow of Edward Caruana, Rose and her husband Adrian Camilleri, her grandchildren, nephews and nieces, and their families, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 8 a.m. at Msida parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

PACE BONELLO ARRIGO - ANNA née Arrigo, passed away peacefully at home. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her beloved daughter Patti Horzella, her treasure granddaughters Zoë, Katia and Anochka, Eric Pace Bonello, her brother Edward Arrigo, her sister-in-law Brigida Arrigo, her brother-in-law Cecil Pace, widower of her sister Marionne, Lina Zammit Cutajar, her dear nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. May she rest in peace.

VELLA. On August 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA, widow of Anthony (former director, Carmel Vella Ltd and Central Asphalt Ltd), aged 81, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmen and her husband Emmanuel Vella, Victoria and her husband Joseph Gauci, Salvina, widow of her son Joseph, Doris and her husband Michael Mifsud, Dr Carmlino Pirotta, widower of her daughter Antonia, Rita and her husband Notary John Debono, Margaret and her husband Joseph Cassar Mallia, her brother and sisters, grandchildren, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. for Mellieħa parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Mellieħa cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Moviment Missjunarju Ġesù fil-Proxxmu, Victoria, Gozo, will be greatly appreciated.

Requiem Masses

A Mass for the repose of the soul of IRENE ATTARD BONDI will be said at the Salesian Oratory (opposite St Patrick's church), Sliema, tomorrow at 7.30 p.m., being the trigesima die of her demise. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.

Water cuts

Consumers in Marfa, Ċirkewwa, Armier and Għadira will experience a complete water cut today in view of works on the 30 cm main at the Ċirkewwa Reverse Osmosis plant.

The supply is expected to return to normal by tomorrow morning.
