Police suspect link in Sicilian stabbing case
The police in Sicily are investigating whether the stabbing of a Maltese man in Syracuse last Saturday was linked to the stabbing of an Italian a few hours earlier,
Informed sources said the police suspect the two crimes were committed by the same group.
The Maltese man, who had been on holiday, suffered a neck injury but his condition is not serious and he has returned to Malta.
He had been in the company of another two Maltese when they were attacked by a group of six Sicilians.
