Pakistani to be deported

A 44-year-old Pakistani who resides in Birżebbuġa this morning pleaded guilty to defrauding another person of more than €2,239.37. The man was also accused of falsifying and using official documents.

Magistrate Silvio Meli sentenced the man to 18 months imprisonment suspended to two years. He is to be deported.
